Uncle Dugs plays 65mins of 1994 Jungle. It's alright.

The 1998 one is fucking dire. Reminds me of bars in Leeds that you couldn't get into if you weren't in smart shoes. Thugs for bouncers.

The 2002 Plastician one is superb. Fuck knows what music it is though because I was only really into Acid Tekno in 2002 and it isn't that.

Sir Spiro 2006 one is also very good. Possibly a touch slower, though.

Not sure 'dubstep' existed as a genre back in 2002. Sublow? 8 bar (if it's got emcees on it)?

Just listening to it now... I'd go with sublow/eskibeat/even grime? It's got at least one Wiley instrumental, and other early grime dubs on there..

Norwood Soul Patrol have just MASSIVELY cheered me up by playing The Cure's Lullaby on their latest show. Kudos to them for pulling out these odd tunes that you would think wouldn't fit on Rinse but do.

tbh kenny i havent checked in to radionecks in a while now - didnt notice it folded - got a bit dry in there, lots of infighting/slagging off. shame its gone though.

i doubt theres anything similiar out there. is there anything in particular you want to chat about?

Not particularly - I just enjoyed dipping into the drama around the various London frequencies. I agree about the infighting.
