Rinse FM

I agree - best of the lot. Sctacha talking about the file sharer that got kidknapped is too funny. Feels likes the station is going to go from strength to strength.

Good day today for the old school heads.

Uncle Dugs was early/mid 90s Jungle/DnB (11am - 2pm)
Slipmatt is currently doing 60 tunes in 60 minutes - 2pm - 3pm
Brockie is up 3pm - 4pm doing Jungle in to DnB

#RCFF

Should all be podcastable

If anyone is interested, Dugs did 2 epic interviews with Goldie recently on his show, are on the Rinse site or Dugs's soundcloud.

who, Dugs?

total legend. Am a massive fan of his show, which given I am 38 I find pretty weird. I get excited when i get shout outs and all sorts  :D

top bloke and if you are in to the music, best show on the radio by a country mile - built up a real loyal fan base using social media etc.. even did a B Side Special because I suggested it to him on another site!

I know there are lots of Surgeon fans here, Surgeon did a show last week on Rinse - not sure but I think it was a one off

Also HorseMeat Disco are on at 1pm on Sundays - great radio, they're a lot of fun as presenters, and (deep and rare) disco is perfect for Sunday lunchitmes...new must listen show for me.

Preceeding HMD is Josey Rebelle who often plays some great detroit techno and NY house in amongst her selection, really like her show

That Surgeon show was wicked
And I was going to come on here and post about HMD too. Perfect scheduling - old disco and soul records with a nice bit of chat/knowledge
It's obvious that Rinse is attempting to broaden its remit - there are loads of new shows - from new techno from the likes of Bleed, house from Tief and d'n'b from Critical. They're even opening up to the provinces with shows from the likes of 2:31 from Birmingham (house/baseline)

yeah it's a great station.

until Kiss or someone buy it up and kill it.

Hessle, Numbers and Night Slugs still the strongest shows by far.
Optimo and Surgeon are welcome additions to the roster
Love the banter on the Artwork and Serge Pokes show - a proper radio show!
