I think it's fair to point out the double standards over Clinton (and other liberal politicians, no doubt). However the motivation should be to attack the rapey crimes of all the elites, not just to pursue an obsession with Clinton.

Harvey Weinstein is currently an ex movie producer . Maybe we shouldn't focus on him either if that's the case . The clintons and Obamas have retired from the administrative sphere . They are still however active commentators and more within the political sphere .

Clearly you're of the belief that his powerful political friends embrace of the man despite them actually being repeatedly warned of his activities has no relevance to a culture that permits powerful well connected men to engage in this behaviour without fear of being held to account . Nor do you believe the continued tortuous defence of Bill Clintons serial sex assaults, rapes and harassment has any relevance to a culture were everyone turns a blind eye and women are justifiably afraid to speak out against a powerful rapist .

The fact is the very people who are making big noises about changing this culture defend another powerful predator in the very next breath . That doesn't point to any change in the culture whatsoever . Far from it .

I think that's quite similar to how Clintons supporters defended ..actually still do..him from the women who accused him . politically motivated , anti democrat, anti Clinton witch hunt by obessives etc . It's just another angle to dismiss it .

And as regards obsessions with Clinton, Harvey Weinstein moved in next door to them and showered them with all sorts of lavish gifts . He's also until very recently been sharing political platforms with a fellow rapist and serial sex abuser " speaking truth to power " . They had a mutual obsession with each other .
