Mrs Dess has started making pizza totally from scratch. She's not got the tomato sauce right yet, but it is very very close. Last night's was really good. An unorthodox shape, sort of oval, but flavour, texture etc near perfect.

I don't tolerate dairy either but no need to go without. You can have a proper pizza (ie one not covered in curdled ruminant mammary ejaculate).

My quick'n'easy DIY option is to grab a Crosta & Mollica pizza base and dress with a few classic toppings (eg mushroom, red onion, crushed garlic, hot chillies, decent olives, red peppers, squash, potato, rocket, some combination thereof, quick swirl of a decent olive oil). Otherwise a genuine simple pizza rosa or, even better, more simple, pizza bianca.
