Outrage as Tory MP claims she felt threatened by 'thug gang' of campaigning OAPs and disabled people

It's as if health cuts were a matter of life and death or something. I personally knew two people who have died because of the Austerity Lie. Both had mental health problems. One jumped in front of a District Line tube. The other, Peter, I know for a fact had been very unsettled by the closure of a day centre he used to go to - just about the only place he could go to where he could feel somewhat comfortable. He jumped onto the tracks at Ealing.

So sorry to hear that, blood on their hands.

One way to stop these thugs repeating the outrage would be if some public-spirited constituent were to burn down the constituency office.

'Briefing time, crips and cripesses. This time it's personal. People on sticks and crutches, you're our infantry, brave footsoldiers in the army of the persecuted and dispossessed. Go in hard and fast and take no prisoners. Obviously you can't take the objective without armoured support so, people in wheelchairs and mobility scooters, you'll attack in a phalanx formation with Wagner blasting from your megaphones. Scares the shit out of them! If you need additional back-up then holler and I'll see if I can't send some air support from those seagulls the Cabinet Office are so scared of.'

One more thing, people. For God's sake, be careful out there...'

Being old or disabled or both is not an excuse for behaving badly. Hopefully a video of this alleged behaviour will emerge.

Given that thousands of disabled people have been killed by her party I cannot really think of any measure of civil disobedience taken by disabled people that would constitute bad behaviour in my mind. They are literally fighting for their right to exist.

The demonising of the poor, the disabled etc has now reached such heights that in the mind of Tory MPs like Priti Patel I suppose the very act of collective protest is now regarded as thuggish behaviour.

Just look at them standing together in the rain with their banner proclaiming that the NHS is "ours" and should be fought for. It's a sight to strike terror into the heart of any right-thinking person.

Bullies always like to play the victim

gets to the point where you might as well brick the cunts cos they'll claim you did anyway and twats like quartz will line up to back them. Is it always the rich and powerful you spoke for quartz? Or did some major life event turn you into a lickspittle?

The past year or so has made me begin to wonder whether there is something in the psychology of some people that makes them inclined to back the powerful bully over the people who are persecuted, maybe as some sort of subconscious pathetic defence mechanism or something

It's called deference. All the mainstream parties rely on it.
