It's taken me a long time to realise what a fucked up mess the olympics is and the damage it does to the world. It wasn't until 2001 when China got the games that my jaw hit the table and I began to become more aware.

I hate to make you feel crap mc, but I'm sure (or at least I hope,) that you - and hopefully others that have had the same realisation - are able to redirect that energy towards vocally condemning this debacle and the politicised money that supports it. People are getting abused, tortured and imprisoned for long periods in so called "rehabilitation camps", without trial, in China, directly because of these so called "games".

I reckon we need some mods in this thread to sort this shit out,cause i for one am fucking sick of it.
Hopefully you won't be detained and abused for years when you try to hand in an application to raise a banner 15 kilometeres from the stadium at the 2012 games because your grandmothers home was demolished without compensation and she was thrown out on the streets to make way for the "games" and then imprisoned for years without trial for trying, peacefully, to hand in a complaint about her treatment.

If he was cheating, he would not have tested positive after he completed the event - that would be stupid.
He would have done all his drugs and weight training during the many, many, months of the year that he was not competing at the olympics.
And given that there is no accredited drug testing in Jamaica during all of those months and given, therefore that he will get away with it and make himself a multi-millionaire, it would seem that the temptation is irresistable.
Why not?
Just look at history.
After all, it's not as if so many "drug-free heros" of the past have not been exposed.
