October Craft club?

I would offer my place, but it's a bit of a trek from there to Jamm (2 buses)... I'm free on the 30th too though.

Anyone free before then for a quick session in stitching? Cake offered as an insentive ;) :)
 
Ditto... happy to offer my place too. :) But HeroineSheep is probably closer to Jamm for those going on (if we stick to the 26th).

Ignore this - suddenly I actually can do this particular Thursday after all :rolleyes:.

I'd still like to go to the shop at some point though (not necessarily then, and I can always go on my own).
 
Right.. let's stick to next Thursday (26th). Shall we take Heroinesheep up on her offer as I guess many people will be going to Jamm afterwards?

(I'm still guessing that Heroine is closer to Jamm than I!)

I've finished! And it fits! And I really like it!

Which is just as well given how much money the yarn cost... :oops:

Got loads left over so I'm thinking matching hat and gloves?
 
I know.. it's a miracle!!! I was sure there'd be something wrong with it. It's not the most professionally knitted garment - but it's the first i've done for me and I love it!
 
Oooh - I'll drop in after Guinevertoo has dumped some plants on me - I don't know what time that will be but I need some help with a xmas scarf I am making :oops:

I arranged for a girl to visit us with a view to renting our spare room at 7pm so I could get there in good time - but she's just called to say she's running late and won't be here till 8pm. Which means I'll be late too... sorry...

Don't think I'll make it - don't want to take my blanket to offline (it'll smell of smoke and beer, and is for my lil neice to be)... and I've not had dinner or a shower or got plants yet... excuses, excuses, excuses :oops: :D

I have now finished the second sleeve of my shrug (no more pesky double-pointed needles) and am about the embark on the final part, which shouldn't take very long. I might be wearing it to the next meet!!
