Think I just never liked the name because when it came to an actual trance state I always found techno to be the bomb.

“Trance” felt a bit more like “ambient EDM-pop” by comparison.

Or “gym music”. (My gym music - not what the gym plays)

it passed off okay i think. there was a geezer in a boob tube. why worry about footware when you can go shoeless, etc, etc. counted 10 gym vests but come 2am all the gym bros were shirtless and flexing. i don't like trance though. it didn't grab me like drum adn bass does. i couldn't loose myself in it.

oh it was. dance for 5 minutes think fuck that and sit down. repeat and rinse. drum and bass i can check my watch and 3 hours has passed. just not my thing.

one thing i noticed that the average age was about 45 it seemed. never seen such an old crowd. trance obv not so down with the kids.
