National Sausage Week 28th October – 3rd November

This thread has made my mind up to defrost some merguez for tomorrow. I'll have them with harissa (obviously) and some salady bits, but that's not really relevant. Behold:

Fucking yum :)

When I was a non veggie 29 years ago!! I used to love Lorne sausage also referred to as square sausage. Would love a veggie version.

I made my sausage casserole and will be eating it for most of the week. I couldn't get to a butcher yesterday so had M&S Lincolnshire sausages which were really quite good.

I have some chipolatas in the fridge, but I was so tired yesterday I couldn't be arsed making tea so I ordered a pizza.

Sorry sausage week :(

I will rectify today.

I’ve resolved to feel less bad about unhealthy breakfasts involving black pudding this week.

(anyone tried veggie black pudding?)

Had hotdogs for a kid friendly sausage week tea. Griddled chipolata sausages not boiled frankfurters and loads of fried onion. Yank mustard and some habanero sauce stuff (red sauce for kid). Was nice but had tea at half five and now I'm hungry again

Yay!! Had sausage chips and beans for tea last night. Will endeavour to have sausage casserole for tea at some point. lamb1979 I believe we just need some porkers

Let's not forget the Lorne Sausage
Good with a FSB (Full Scottish Breakfast) or indeed in a roll for a brunch :)

I had chipolatas last night in a Chinese-ish stir fry.

Sausage, bell peppers, courgette, mushrooms, lettuce, spring onion, chilli bean paste, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame seeds.

Was pretty nice
