New star trek film

I like the Voyager Episode where Be'lanna wants to secs Tom, but he's to much of a gent to take advantage (her lust is a pon farr thing. Can't quite remember why a half-human half-klingon was experiencing Pon Farr-vulcan thing iirc))

Not sure who'd I come as... Counsellor Troi... yay!! I'll will spend all the time saying " I can sense you are happy. I can sense you are sad.I can sense you are angry."

Do we need the urban star trek night? all dress up as trekies, play the star trek drinking game and argue over who the best captain is?

I'll be there

Disconcert all the menfolk by saying "I can sense you have the horn". :D

yea but didn't they have GPS or something like that?

they got sent there by a super powered alien (nicknamed the caretaker) they quite quickly worked out their location using star maps etc but where they were is on the other side of the galaxy witch would take them summin like 75 years to get back home at maximum sustanable warp speed...

and in at number three

could have ranked higher, but got Fail points for episodes involving his son and the tedious father-son issues

I saw that one again the other night. Fail, worf, Fail. You should have just battered him like what a proper klingon would have done.

KA'PLAH!

Why was Worf so awesome in TNG and such a miserable drip in DS9?

Also: Q was BORING. Omnipotent beings don't have much storyline mileage in them. And John de Lancie was better in Planescape:Torment as that weird angel character.

Q was good in the episode of Voyager when he wants to have babies with Janeway.

Im glad someone else noticed! 'Worf Fail' is the soundtrack to his TNG career.

Where is Crispy? There needs to be a graph made detailing the win/lose ratio of Worf's hand to hand fights in TNG and DS9. He was forever getting his arse kicked on TNG, though I concede he won more fights on DS9.

However on TNG, any passing alien would hurl him into the plastic containers in the cargo bay, knocking him out for fun.

While making his way through the various Enterprise decks, if ever Worf came across an escaping prisoner/ cunning intruder, the moment he would brandish his shitty phaser was a cue for him to get his Klingon arse kicked in.

Lt Yaa FTW.

Rubbish! a;though he may have got the smackdown now and then. Worf as security chief pwned,

If any TNG character can be labeled as truly Fail it is Wesley Crusher

Loads of people kicked Worf in! He took more beatings than everyone else combined!

The older the season, the more punishment he took. Worf spots the danger, squats slightly, ready to strike, points phaser and then another number of GM humans/ freakaziod shape changing aliens kick his arse!

Wesley Crusher was special! The Traveller took him to squire a master race of short arses or something. His mum packed his lunch.

The Traveller was clearly just a nonce. TNG Worf was brilliant, he was always snarling at people and hitting himself with pain sticks. Then DS9 came along and he got all angsty and shit. Even though he was shagging a Trill (clearly the foxiest aliens in the show).

Thats the point of the warrior in tv sci-fi. He gets whupped while the heroes do what needs doing. And when thats not happening, he's good for comedy value.

Wes;ey joins the neelis and the jar jar in my personal hell

Possibly the sexiest aliens evah!

*goes to start new thread, after first checking for old ones*

I do rate Worf, Id certainly back him against Comander Loverman Riker.

I know we discussed the Worf Vs Teal'c sometime ago (Teal'c won I think?). But this Worf Vs Wookie deathmatch just made me giggle!

The comments display the kind of Star Trek insight and analysis that needs saluting!

He [Worf]was beat up by a couple of Ferengi in The Last Outpost. He lost to GUINAN on the firing range. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! FERENGI?! GUINAN?!

Not only is he [Chewie] physically strong, he's smarter than Worf, a Klingon who lives a solitary life as the only member of his species in Starfleet and hangs around with wimpy humans. Sure, he practices in the Holodeck, but it's not the same thing as going up against a real opponent.

Deep down, Worf knows there's no way that the Holodeck would actually hurt him, since it's programmed not to kill (not withstanding the times it goes crazy, usually once a week) and so he's not used to fearing his opponents. And other Klingons think he's a wimp. Chewbacca's gone up against the Death Star
.

Worf? Worf? Wait, I think I know that guy. He's the weapons officer on that ship that always gets its ass kicked when anything more dangerous than an abandoned freighter lumbers into view. In hand-to-hand combat? Hmmmm...
Oh yeah, I think I saw him fight a real-life enemy[TM] once or twice. He got beaten like a red-headed stepchild. That's right, he's gotten thrown around by pretty-boy android Data several times. On any occasion where the writers have stopped making Geordi spew big made-up words and let the scene degenerate into hand-to-hand combat, he almost always is the first one down.
Ha!

Of course he's first down in them situations described. Worf represents the security of the crew. When we see Worf's klingon arse beaten we know the shit is serious because FUCK MAN! WORFS DOWN.

All of the other TNG characters are pussies with technology that allows them to pwn. Then they look like mugs when deprived of them toys. Worf at least has some mad combat skillz

If I see a ST/SG crossover fight between Worf and Teal'C, I'll die happy

To close to call imo

*adores DC!* :)

Star Fleet must have turned out some double hard bastards back in the day before they got bloated and soft. I mean- treaties with Romulans and Klingons must have been hard won.

However in TNG/DS9 time, in battle the Borg and Jem Had'ar take out starships like it's fun.

Its always some magical leap of faith by the Enterprise Crew that saves the day.
