Bring back hanging
I wonder what that 'could' means.
"Won't"?I wonder what that 'could' means.
I thought I was replying to articul8 commenting on Jones
Surely this refusal will then open the door to further refusals around which the left can rally in opposition. Further to more refusals comrades. Every setback a victory! Every defeat a step forward!"Won't"?
Yes, yes, I replied to danny but I thought it was you. Grey avatarsI haven't commented on anything Jones has said (on this thread) Did you mean Danny?
No not to TUSC. To being an independent forum for left ideas - including Labour lefts where they can contribute (and someone like McDonnell could make a major contribution) but not restricted to the aim of trying to buttress the position, and flesh out the agenda of, Ed Miliband. And less concern with the liberal left commentariat, and more grounded work on social policy, industrial strategy, economic alternatives etc. Obviously you need to think about how to get the results out there into the public domain - but it should develop an independent intellectual agenda.Orientation to what? TUSC? For what purpose?
You aren't making sense.
Just partly aiming to trying to buttress the position, and flesh out the agenda of, Ed Miliband then. How could my mum get involved in such a project? No not to TUSC. I'll tell Polly Toynbee to get cracking on that oneless concern with the liberal left commentariat
The point is that that wouldn't be the driving force behind the project, even if it was the agenda of some of those involved. You and your mam both welcome .Just partly aiming to trying to buttress the position, and flesh out the agenda of, Ed Miliband then. How could my mum get involved in such a project?
If you do, it's because you misjudge where I'm coming from. The way you look at this thing articul8, is the way we all look at you.
Mine is the Bard. In A Hat!Yes, yes, I replied to danny but I thought it was you. Grey avatars
Nah, she brought me up better than that thanks. The point is that that wouldn't be the driving force behind the project, even if it was the agenda of some of those involved. You and your mam both welcome .
We're wrong to be wrong. You're right to be wrong. If you do, it's because you misjudge where I'm coming from.

Well, it's important to re-think the think-tank model itself. Participatory, collective research and evaluation - widening involvement would all be desirable. How could she get involved in this open pluralistic adventure? Make the tea? Read what you write?
Desirable? What is she going to do whilst you and the boffins have a re-think?Well, it's important to re-think the think-tank model itself. Participatory, collective research and evaluation - widening involvement would all be desirable.
So how does she get involved in that then? The rethink should have been preparatory to launching the thing!
And you've just made sure by that waffle that they're not. Are you starting to get the point? You're not are you jurgen?Unlikely, unless she has some special interest in participatory and democratic research methodologies - but the initial operating assumptions should be open to subsequent critique and contestation by the participants themselves.
