I am too. I work in health environments, I have to commute, I will see the bf's parents for the first time tomorrow in 3 months, we won't be able to hug, we'll sit on their terrace and use the loo through the back door only. I haven't seen any other relatives or friends for nearly as long but you know what...I FULLY understand why every single one of them is taking the risk, whatever that risk is to them. As serious as covid is the threat to life and sanity through state execution quite clearly is rightfully burning a hole in people's souls...ffs we demonstrated for the right to party.... Trump declared anitfa a terriorist organisation today....We are where we are.

There are loads of relevant threads for that opinion.

Thank you for listening. I am not angry at you obviously. I do understand your point of course I have similar worries but was/am heartened to see how much 'demonstrate safely because of covid' advice has been circulating in the last few days. I just think we can't allow it to blinker our reasoning and understanding. We know what is happening, we don't want it for us or our families/friends...we've demonstrated and rioted for less.

On 13 March 2020, 26-year-old emergency medical technician, Breonna Taylor, was 'mutilated with bullet holes while in her underwear' when she was shot eight times when police officers entered her apartment in Louisville, Kentucky. They were executing a search warrant as part of a drugs investigation, but no drugs were found in the property.
The police officers were investigating two people suspected of selling drugs, neither of whom was Ms Taylor.
Police fired more than 20 rounds of ammunition into Ms Taylor's home.
There is no body camera footage from the raid.
