Mike Read sings pro-UKIP calypso song in a fake-Caribbean accent

Someone on twitter said there wasn't a problem with Mike 'rice and' Read (as I think he's known in Kingston) adopting a Jamaican accent because all the nation's children speak that way anyway.

In which case "someone on twitter" has never been within a country mile (or a Trenchtown yard) of a real Jamaican accent, the mug cunt.

Look Out There's a Monster Coming, indeed.

Pity. There was a petition doing the rounds to get him sacked from Radio Berkshire which is where he apparently now "works". Would have been nice if it had been successful.

Was Mike Read one of the DJs satirised by Smashie & Nicey? I know one was a take-off of Alan Freeman.

Isn't Smashie a hybrid between Edmonds and Saville? (obv before all the true horror came to light about him). Nicey may have been a Freeman/Read hybrid...

Edit to change order as I got them backwards

a UKIP spokesman said:
He added: "Were it not for the synthetic outrage, the song would have generated a lot of money for charity, as profits were to be split with the Red Cross for their Ebola Outreach programme.

"It's a pity those so concerned with political correctness have trodden all over this."
The song was released on iTunes and Amazon and 20p from every 79p download was to go to UKIP.

The party said it will now be donating all the proceeds it was due to the Red Cross, in a bid to make up the proceeds affected by the song's withdrawal.

Fucking dicks. Yeah, cos that's the real issue here, 'political correctness gone mad', cunts. If you're so concerned with Donating to the Red Cross get that fucknut leader of yours to donate some of his personal wealth

"Synthetic outrage" FFS

The generation of "synthetic outrage" was probably half the bloody point.

Political correctness taking food from the mouths of babes. Damn the evil thought police.

Co-opting charities into party funding or publicity efforts (probably without their consent) is pretty shady. The EDL slipped up trying that one.

I've had this stupid fucking calypso song in my head for the past few days. I am attempting to dislodge it by listening to Steven Seagal:

He want the punani so fi mek nice
