It will put the willies up every person with such property within central london and highlight the increasingly desperate issue of housing and homelessness in the Capital.

This is an excellent idea and would probably be the most effective use of your time. Requires research though, if you fuck it up and end up terrifying a family with small children it would look very bad.

If you're going to grab some media attention then I also think it would be a good idea to make some noise about a rent strike. Difficult to organise but actions like this could be an opportunity to create the necessary psychological groundwork. Maybe you could also consider doing something in support of the UCL and Goldsmith's students on rent strike too.
