mapping Mixtrack Pro II to Traktor

Kuso

drinking like george best, gettin less women
mostly easily done by downloading a file from somewhere that has the mapping already done. BUT there's no separate gains for each track on the controller. You can do it on the laptop but it's not really very practical the way I've everything set up.

I tried mapping some effects knob (as I rarely use them, or rarely use all of them any way) to adjust gain for that track but all I can get it to do is either turn the gain up full or down to zero.

Any advice?

It's fiddly but not that hard. all they controls are recognised by the software using a relativly simple markup language (think the bastard child of BASIC and HTML1).

I... errm know this because I was going to go round mapping people's digital thingybobs to make an 'aroogah' style clown horn noise, or possibly just say 'sync' really loud if some bugger pressed it. Then it all sort of got out of hand once I got to the reprogramming CDJs to do it as well, and talking loads of people into spreading it round club as a USB-stick bourne virus... :hmm:

Anyways. yeah tis a piece of piss. In fact there are tons of free mappings to download here: All Traktor Mappings for Numark, Mixtrack/Mixtrack Pro
