Lunch should have its own thread

Half a piri piri chicken n rice
Cooked in haste before going out last night.
Pink as fuck in the middle. I ate a bit of chicken n most of the rice (soaked in ecolijuice) before realising.
Fingers crossed, but potentially: (((my guts))).

Got lucky with a morning TB/bargain haul at the soopermarket today

Cheese, onion and mayo sandwich for 30p
20 cocktail sausages for 35p
4 pork pies (65g each pie) for 95p
5 chicken satay skewers for £1
Pot of houmous for 70p

A very splendid curry cafe has opened near my work. Today I had a fandabidozi meat karahi, naan and salad for £4.50. I took it back to the place we eat our dinner at work and about four people had a gander at it and listened to my opinion that it was extremely lush and then they all filed off there. One got the same as me, another got a chicken sheek kebab in pitta with salad and a bottle of pop for £2.50 - today's lunchtime special - one got three massive meat samosas and salad and dippy sauce of some persuasion for £3 and the other got a vegetable and rice thingymajiggymabob for £3.
It wa so nice and it was so filling I haven't had any tea.
I can see I'm going to be a regular there!

i have an M&S salad left over from Saturday bcos I never got round to eating it, and a roll with cottage cheese and tomato. And an apple.
And there's some cake in the tin behind my desk - just to cancel out the healthiness of everything else

I'm off to Story in Tooley Street. The first course, I am reliably informed, is a lit candle made of beef tallow into which one dunks bread.
