Lunch should have its own thread

Fried mushrooms, curried scrambled egg and some toasted tiger bread. Half the toast had a slight brown sheen of marmite on top, t'other half was just plain.

I'm having an chicken jalfrezi readymeal. Normally they taste fairly bland, but today I have a bit of a cold and it tastes delicious :hmm:

The cracker: matzo

the cheeses: Wenslydale with blueberries, spreadable camambert

the meats: cold slow cooked pulled chickn, cold ham from westphalia. Not sure where that is

the misc: organic tomato and basil pate

the drink: tall class of very cold, very dry cider

Because I work for the company shop ltd that lot cost me 3 pounds fifty. Result! (not including the cider)

Massive salad (cos lettuce, cucumber, grated carrot, cherry tomatoes, roast peppers from a jar, spring onions, feta cubes, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, vinaigrette), thin slice of rye bread with butter. Followed by a cup of tea and a 'Mister Choc' fake snickers bar from Lidl :D

Big Shin Cup. Worked nicely for brunch.

Westphalia is in Germany. Dortmund is the biggest city.

you've come up in the world! :D....keep it real tho....

i had a yummy, slightly posh, slightly massive, poached salmon baguette from Pret. Then came back to work to find someone had left a homemade apple tart by my desk with a note saying 'help yourself'. Then I had an email from someone else saying she forgot to take her nectarines home last night so everyone must eat them up before they go bad. Now I just need to summon up some appetite in the next few hours for eating out tonight and drinking vast amounts. Knowing me, I'm sure I'll manage it & will be ravenous again in 4 hours :D

Picnic lunch in Greenwich Park today :) although with kids, and meeting friends with kids, so it will be more cream cheese sandwiches and shouting than chilled Pimms and chatting.

massive tesco salad help yourself bowl. Had tuna, chickpeas, egg, couscous, pasta, various bits of salad, garlic stuffed olives, cheese stuffed peppers.... Am v full now! But still ate an apple straight after
