Lunch should have its own thread

I went out and had a chicken and almond salad. Only got to have a few bites though as was being hurried along. Also felt awkward as my colleague is fasting. Got it boxed up and will have the rest tonight.

Unhealthy lunch. An Aldi burger with cheese added to the burger itself in a wholemeal bap. I'm not normal a fan of such things and picked them up by mistake, but it was alright. A few fish fingers to keep in company so there wasn't to much bread and some Yorkshire Pickle. Odd combination, but worked rather well. :)

I skipped lunch yesterday because my colleague was fasting and I felt bad enough drinking water in front of him! I don't know how people manage a full day of work without a drink. Props.

Today I was wfh as usual and had a huge pitta with hummus, cheese, hot sauce and salad. Then coffee and an Oreo Dairy Milk.

Are you not eating carbs, Rebelda? I'm starting to worry about the lack of bread in your diet.

I had two rolls with cheese, hot sauce, mayo and lettuce. About to have a coffee.

The tastiest couscous thing I've ever made, with carrots, carrot tops, mint, parsley, feta, pinenuts, broad beans, goldenberries and a pomegranate molasses dressing.

Not on weekdays - although I did on Friday and yesterday because: essay, ear infection.

I need to get some sort of simple, low-calorie dressing organised for my lunchtime sprout salad - today's being mung and fenugreek - something to bring out the nuttiness ...
I like this one:
50 ml orange juice
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
2 tablespoons white vinegar or rice vinegar
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 small clove garlic, peeled and roughly chopped
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Shake it up in a jar. You'll only need a teaspoon or two on your salad as it's very flavoursome.
