Lunch should have its own thread

I had a yellow stickered roasted kale and peanut salad from Sainsbo's (bit too peanutty but otherwise very nice), two walnut cookies and a coffee. I'm very, very bored so I might have another cookie in a minute.

I fancy a sausage butty. I have no sausage.
This shall be remedied in the next ten minutes or so, with a stroll to the butcher's shop. The only problem with this is that sais stroll requires me to walk past a very nice pub with a nice sitting down outside part and they make very good sausage sandwiches and have some pretty good beer on.
Can you tell I have been ambushed by this very thing on more than one previous occasion?
It's a beautiful day and I have nothing pressing to do, so you lot should expect me when you see me.

My friend came over with some tasty broetchen and painkillers. She made me peppery cheese and cucumber brotchen with a garlicky cuppa soup. So kind x

Had a picnic with kayaking friends. Managed to avoid the bakery and had some falafel, couscous and a handful of doritos. Most had beer and pastry goods. Diets are bloody boring.

Sexlunch: feta and quark mixed up in a bowl with fresh mint, grated courgette, olive oil and something called Aleppo pepper, which seems to be a mild but tasty chilli, ground. Bread is fresh out of the oven :smug: Having it with homemade elderflower cordial and fizzy water :fartsniffer:

I really wanted salad but couldn't be arsed to make it. So had toast and avocado with mega hot green chilli sauce and lemon. Then 3 cookies. Going for a little snooze on the trampoline now

I was supposed to have soup, but fucked that off as it is not soup weather :D

Instead had cheese on toast and a handful of cherries

I like this one:
50 ml orange juice
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
2 tablespoons white vinegar or rice vinegar
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 small clove garlic, peeled and roughly chopped
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Shake it up in a jar. You'll only need a teaspoon or two on your salad as it's very flavoursome.

I just made this. It's very fucking lush. Thanks moose

Left over roasted new spuds , organic gherkins , smoked salmon remains , "nearly past sell by date ham" , local sliced brown loaf , mayo.

Fabulous

I would have but I've just eaten

Salad of kale, spinach, avocado, walnuts and green olives, with moose's salad dressing. Bread and butter and fizzy elderflower to go with it.

Sag aloo pie with kachumber and home made green chilli, garlic and coriander hot sauce. The pie had a horrible shop bought taste and not enough greens inside, so it was shit.

Something really healthy and summery...like corncakes with avocado, tomatoes, sea salt, green tea. Iceberg lettuce with gorgonzola, garlic oil and walnuts, few pieces of fruit.
