feel quite sorry for the rest of the band, several years hard slog now reduced to being endlessly asked 'how much did you know?'
Royalties are royalties. They are not effected. They could not have know about the stuff he went guilty on.Yeah and no chance of any future royalties, in this country at least. Still the question is begged how much did they know?

I think the point is that people won't buy the records.
Well if internet gossip sites from way before he was arrested are to be believed, people knew about his predilections.Yeah and no chance of any future royalties, in this country at least. Still the question is begged how much did they know?

On a side note, I read there were some fans there to support him in court - I can't understand these types of people who support their heroes through thick and thin, and will defend them against overwhelming evidence because they like their music/fancy them.
The nobs at Michael Jackson's trial springs to mind (yes, i know he got off but there was pretty strong evidence for the prosecution there too - a gulity man was found not guilty in my opinion)
Here "getting help" if you're a sex offender usually doesn't happen until you've been sent to prison.
In my job I deal with people's Police National Computer records, and the other day someone had a caution for a sexual crime with on a under-13 year old - we could not understand it. No details aprt from just that though.Doesn't necessarily get that far. First time offenders, even for a contact offence against an under 13 can get non custodial sentences which involve having to complete a sex offenders program.
I didn't know his real name was Ian Watkins! It's almost fortunate for him that alot of people know him only as "H" and wouldn't have made the connection.E! Online posted a story with a picture of Ian "H" Watkins from Steps accompanying the article, tweeted it to their 6 million followers, and didn't take it down for an hour. Oops.
We'll find out their sentences, we find out everyone's, and when they're released only slightly after the fact. Just not their names. The women are named on that one. I wonder if we'll find out their sentences too.
They are just as evil as Watkins IMO, they are the child's protector and keeper and they do this to them. It's too horrible for words

They released one dove for each crime he was not guilty of, didn't they? Always wondered what they would have done with them had he been found guilty of half the chargesOn a side note, I read there were some fans there to support him in court - I can't understand these types of people who support their heroes through thick and thin, and will defend them against overwhelming evidence because they like their music/fancy them.

I don't think the women should have been named, to protect the children involved.
I think it's probably a criminal offence to name the mothers.

Yes but sadly once information is in the public domain, it's very hard to take it back. Poor, poor kidsI think it's probably a criminal offence to name the mothers.

He (H) has always struck me as a really unlucky person. I bet he's glad he goes by H.E! Online posted a story with a picture of Ian "H" Watkins from Steps accompanying the article, tweeted it to their 6 million followers, and didn't take it down for an hour. Oops.
Especially after all the fake reports of his deathHe (H) has always struck me as a really unlucky person. I bet he's glad he goes by H.
There are are more issues at work here - authority, domination, celebrity, dependence, all sorts of psychological stuff - than just drug use. Same as with the maoists.
