I became mildly interested in politics as Thatcher was replaced by Major. Back then the Tories where closer to the middle ground. These popular conservative types just seem to want to align themselves to mouthy cunts on Twitter.

Saying that for two decades Tories had tried to “appease these people”, and also argued that ministers have “responsibility without having power”, because of institutions having greater sway.
