OK, am I going mad? The first I heard about any of this was days ago watching a live stream of a funeral that seemed to have kim jong un in a coffin (appeared on my facebook). Modern looking high quality high def and not Kim jong il. I mentioned it to the wife, and had not heard anything else about the story up until this point, I don't think there had even been any reports at all on his health. Just assumed it was official. When i look now for the footage (searching real and fake) the best I get are reported 'fake' static images of Kim Jong Un in a coffin which look exactly like the video I had seen.
Anyone know what the video I saw was? Was it fake? It looked like a really big multi camera deal.

I really don't think it was anything like that. I watched it in my kitchen for several minutes and remember it quite clearly. My wife came in and asked what I was watching and I said I was just watching the kim jong un funeral live streaming. She said she had read he had been ill and we then discussed his It wasn't something constructed from his dads funeral. The bit I was watching was internal and of modern filming quality. After reading it wasn't official he had died I tried to find the video again (assuming it was a well known fake, I wanted to check it out, as it had been so convincing).

Yeah, he died, they buried him, but then covered it up by using Jo Johnson as a look-a-likey replacement.

As I have said before, the footage was high quality and looked modern. I'm not saying what I saw was real, but I thought I would quickly be able to google a source for it being a fake. Internal shots. Very large high building, cameras taking advantage of the space, and moving around, lot's of angles. Place was packed, almost like a cathedral but more modest and modern. Some people were crying, but not over the top in the way I have seen in north korean funerals.

It must have been from Kim Jong il, but I can't find the footage on you tube. Snopes says a fake Facebook account from his sister did a stream two days ago, but this was before the weekend. Thursday/Friday I think. It's probably the same thing.
