Keir Starmer's time is up

This article from The Times isn't solely about Starmer; it's a review of what faces Starmer, Badenoch, and, to a lesser extent, Farage in 2025. It's a bit gossipy, in my opinion, very Westminster focused, and lacks any economic analysis. However, it does have some insights.

I was particularly taken with the idea that 'Red' Ed is seen as a threat waiting in the corners.

I read that as not so much that Red Ed is a threat than not wanting the green policies to be to successfully delivered. As this potential vote loser at next election. ( Not my view but the Labour insider quoted)The problem with Red Ed is that he's to good at getting on with his job.
