Keir Starmer's time is up

This is pretty damning:

Meanwhile, here is Sir Keir Starmer with members of the Arunima Kumar Dance Company during a reception that he hosted to mark Diwali ...

... at which meat and alcohol were served.

Cows are considered a sacred animal by Hindus, and and many choose not to eat beef, while other Hindus avoid meat altogether. Practising Sikhs and Jains are also vegetarians and abstain from alcohol.

I've plenty of practising Sikhs in my family that both eat meat and drink booze...this is a storm in a teacup.

Yeah but, seeing as your tongue is right up Starmer's wheeto, please allow us to take whatever you say with a massive ladle of salt.

There was a discussion on Reddit about one aspect of this:
If you are a vegan can you eat ass? Why or why not? : r/AskReddit

Amongst the replies:
wisedoormat:
if the subject is consenting, then yes.
You can be a cannibal vegan... as long as your meals consent to it.
FakeCraig:
Exactly. It's about ethics, not about definition. People who get caught up in "does it count?" questions forget that the why, whether it hurts others or not, is the most important thing about veganism.

Nope, just pointing out that it’s not a massive story, they made a mistake, apologised and that’s it. It’s not going to cause the moral collapse of the government.

I'll get upset by this when corrupt gurdwara committees stop allowing the consumption of alcohol on gurdwara premises during bullshit OTT wedding ceremonies.

Also, we don't fucking well celebrate Diwali, we're not Hindus! We celebrate Bandi Chhor Diwas.
