Keir Starmer's time is up

It's still that shit line that 'pain is needed', though.

UK economic growth this year has been strong and inflation is down. Ironically, given the mess the tories did cause, it was sorting itself out by the time of the election. This government has decided that there is a fiscal gap to fill by taking money for poor people and pensioners. This is a decision to create that gap. We shouldn't lose sight of that.

These would not be the metrics I would first turn to to measure success, but they would, all of them, so they're being disingenuous.

Jesus, I've just seen what he said publicly about the bus cap today; he really is a good deal more sociopathic than i first realised...

“I do know that this matters, particularly in rural buses, and that’s why I’m able to say to you this morning that in the budget, we will announce there’ll be a £3 cap on bus fares until the end of 2025, because I know how important it is. So that’ll be there in the budget on Wednesday.”
I know how much this matters that I'll impose a 50% increase.

I am a working person, and as such I expect my pay packet to remain the same after the budget!
Starmer said so!

What else however? the devil will be in the details.

How much for example will it cost me to run my car?
Because living in the sticks, it isn't busses we rely on, we rely on our cars!

Your pay packet will remain the same and that's the problem
