...and today's announcement of turning down the EU offer of a trade deal just feeds into the impression I'm getting that Starmer is trying to look just a bit Trump like and fancies himself as a strong leader.

Saw this guy on Newsnight last night.
It speaks volumes that Starmer would use a column in the Daily Mail to attack an ordinary citizen concerned with the environmental impact of increasing road use in his community. It say specifically:
- that he's a cunt for writing for the Daily Mail
- that he's the type of cunt who makes pious sermons about the environment (and Labour's plan for the enviornment generally) but quickly dumps them when the interests of developers and capital are impaired; and
- that he's a bullying cunt. Happy to give it large with those unable to fight back, but crumples like a cheap suit when contronted by real power.
