I saw Rayner on C4 news tonight. When pushed on why Labour are 13 points behind in the polls going into local elections -- the same as when SurKieth took the leadership -- her response was that it has been a difficult year. As if the Tories catastrophic response to Covid and their ballsing up of Brexit is something that would just obviously always hurt Labour.
