I see the great man has had to make a grovelling apology to John Trickett... which must have stung.

The Guardian seemed to have pulled a story on it and have circled their wagons

Some self reflection might have been good for him but I understand that might be difficult.

Rentoul has further apologised for thinking a Green Paper meant recycled stationery, and that Standing Orders were laws forbidding sitting. He is rethinking his career as parliamentary commentator.

I had a really good chuckle, both at Rentoul's tweet, and at the spectacle of Jon Trickett 'fighting the law' with some militant 'Kill the Bill' posturing and then employing the law to defend his reputation.

But why exactly would the Guardian be 'circling it's wagons' since Rentoul doesn't work for them ? Oh wait it's the 'punch line' of a truly pathetic non-story in middle class wank rag The Skwawkbox.
