This reminds me a bit of when Thatcher was getting close to death and she'd got dementia and kept forgetting Denis was dead so she had to go through the torment of being reminded and grieving once again on a daily basis. None of them were going to be deselected, and they know it. If it hasn't been brought in after three and a bit years of bitterness, attacks on the leadership and (worse) many of the membership as well and co-operation with the enemy from that lot then it never will be.
