He makes a lovely dad doesn't he?.... and to see Paul Copley again, too.

I thought he was gorgeous as a dad. I wanted him to cuddle me. (Although, actually, I am far too old to be his daughter - I think some of that is me being drawn into the sadness of the programme by the wonderful acting)He makes a lovely dad doesn't he?
Isn't he Egg's dad in This Life? And naked bloke in Shameless.I thought he was gorgeous as a dad. I wanted him to cuddle me. (Although, actually, I am far too old to be his daughter - I think some of that is me being drawn into the sadness of the programme by the wonderful acting)
it took me a while, and some googling, to remember where I recognised him from...
Is he? Blimey.Isn't he Egg's dad in This Life? And naked bloke in Shameless.
Where do you see him then?Is he? Blimey.
I have never seen Shameless, actually, although I found out yesterday that another of my favourite actresses, Maxine Peake, was also in it.
I remember him from the Hornblower films which I watched fairly recently (it is astonishing how much telly and films you can watch after you get a diagnosis of a serious illness! ).Where do you see him then?
Yeah - he has been in so many things that I gave up trying to list them!He was in Last Tango in Halifax as well.
My friend reckons that none of the others, although good, are anything like as good as this episode. In fact, he suggested that I watch the other ones first, as this one will spoil the other ones
It is dark. Very dark.
In a good way I hopeI actually groaned out loud when they called Mr Twoshoes' wife.
Well worth it.
