Inside No 9

D'wards

IT'S YOUR DECISION DANIEL
Anyone see this? I thought it was excellent.

Mind you, i do love Shearsmith and Pemberton and i do love horror compendiums.

The ensemble cast was excellent; Mark Wooten is always a highlight. Every one was a recognisable face from British television through the years, and the series trailer looks like this was a policy when casting the entire series, which i like.

If you like sinister black comedy, have a look on iplayer

I enjoyed it too. It was good to see Mark Wooten cast in this, we don't get to see enough of him on telly imo.

Yeah, very good.Shearsmith is brilliant and Pembertons's creepy sort of understatementness(iykwim) is excellent.

I thought it was absolutely excellent too. Tim Key was great. They were all great. I love Anne Reid. And then Timothy West showing up was just perfect.I hope the rest of the series lives up to the first one.

Yes, watched this on Iplayer this morning. Very good. Overlooking the ridiculousness of the scenario, which I suppose is part of the whole awkward disconcerting vibe anyway.

Saw the first one of these last night and was impressed.

The two off The League of Gentlemen were superb.

Yeah, liked that one tonight. Started slowly but got darker and funnier (the blow up doll :D). And that amazing house!

These two are a real talent I think. Really great telly this. Kovan Novak was very good too tonight, as he always is.
Tonight's one proves they are great physical comedy actors too

Yeah, I think the 2nd one was better than the first. But because it was so different it's very difficult to say.

They were both great episodes and I can't wait for more.

On iplayer for a month too, does that happen often?

I vaguely remember the BBC announcing recently after a public consultation that leaving stuff on iplayer for longer was a change that was happening, along with +1 channels IIRC

I thought they were both great but I think I preferred the first one as I found it quite unsettling. I really didn't know where it was going and I liked the claustrophobic creepy atmosphere. Tim Key getting that little bit too close to other characters and making inappropriate comments...and the sense of secrets waiting to be revealed.

They are really very clever. The two episodes were completely different and both excellent. I can't wait for the rest.

Watched the first episode last night and thought it was excellent. Tim Key was particularly good. In fact I was woken up in the night by my daughter and couldn't get back to sleep for ages afterwards because I started thinking about it and got really creeped out :D

Yes I thought last night's was the best so far though have enjoyed them all and BBC have commissioned a second series.

It's so different from everything else on TV- it feels like it's from another time- in a good way. I think the latest was the best one. Hilarious and creepy in equal measures
