I only want good footy films on at my cinema cheers! :D

That ones got Russell bloody Osman in it, well known former manager of Bristol C*ty and therefore a cunt.

Shaolin Soccer sounded interesting though, I heard about that one. And what was that one where these Tibetan monks watch the World Cup on a secret telly or something? Wouldn't mind seeing that either.

Good footy films, Jimmy Grimble

If you had real class youd've gone for Yesterdays Hero with Ian McShane :p

Ulzana's Raid & Dersu Uzala. Because the names sound similar, no one else has mentioned, one from the Wild West while the other is from the Wild East & Dersu Uzala is a bloody damned good film anyway.

**warning**

i don't have net access at home, or a floppy drive or a cd burner, and at work we don't have any zip drives.

consequently i've been storing up a list of double bills, triple bills, nights and seasons for the u75 palais, which i'll post up when i'm back online in the next couple of weeks... start panicking, as it's only half done, and already it's up to sixteen pages of text in claris

all bleedin' good films, mind...

so any more suggestions out there?

All The Presidents men
3 days of the Condor

Redford night and there would be plenty left for next week as well

If dis is a pure ego trip, I'd make the damm films sod watching them....:p

Well for what it's worth heres what I'd have a PULP NIGHT.
What I call Pulp Fiction Films.

1) The Eagle Has Landed
2) Independence Day
3) Shaft 2000
4) The Rock
5) Where Eagles Dare
6) The Fugative

Im open to negotiation as to the order, and I might edit in more as I see/remeber them

Now how about a classic's night

1) Dr Zhivago
2) Laurence of Arabia
3) Apoclapsye Now
4) The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
5) Casablanca
6) Bridge on the River Kwai
7) Duck Soup

Oh yea and new moby or that type of thing in the bar during the day.
With two evenings a week pure punk (Sex Pistols/Greenday/Offspring)
Then for two evenings a week of Britpop (Oasis/Blur/Pulp)
Then for two evenings a week Classics (Queen/Beach Boys/The Levelers)
And then one evening a week we have requests in the bar.

A night celebrating the comedy pairing of Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzzenegger.

Fucking good choice.

Not popular with the drug-addled workshy lefties that slink round this board - but a wonderful comedy pairing if ever there was!
