it's merely responsible thread management, i'll have you know, whippersnapper :p

Alright, alright... -CHILL THE FUCK OUT, GRAMPS!!! ;)

Serious point: didn't this thread start as some kind of call for suggestions for an urbanite-curated film night at The Cube?

-Or is it just an excuse for us to ramble on about long-forgotten obscurities??? :D

well, at first it was just a dumping ground for people to stick up vaguely themed collections of films, then came the idea for an actual film night/season, but that sort of fizzled out a bit - but i think it would still be a good idea :)

This thread's been running for over a year now. I think we might actually have proven ourselves to be too slack even by The Cube's rather chilled standards. :D

I'd do a low budget apocalypse all nighter:

The Quiet Earth
The Last Wave
Night of the Comet
Last Night
Miracle Mile
The Rapture

Sorry but you can't have a list of journos abroad in war zones without including Salvador - James Woods drives to El Salvador to chronicle the events of the 1980 military dictatorship

Likewise you can't have a road movie night without "Death Race 2000"!
