How much are you bothered by the TV election debates carry on?

Do you want to see Election 2015 TV debates happen

  • Yes, but just a head to head between Cameron & Miliband

    Votes: 0 0.0%

  • Total voters
    69
I don't give crap about them. After elections I have to pay same expensive builds, food, working for shite money. Wars is still going on around. So yes I would better sit and watch good opera or ballet. So fuck politicians their don't do nothing for us.

Well yeah, obviously.

I couldn't live on a zero-hours CONtract...nuff said. Yes for a very select few it may be "better than nothing"...but for most single adults or anyone with a family then it probably the route-to-ruin:(

Jesus. Paxo's "are you alright Ed?"

'kinell...full on Murdoch...

But Milliband did fire back something like 'Are you, Jeremy?'!

Whatever you think about Labour - and I have a lot of issues with them - Milliband, in the context of being a major party leader, is a decent bloke and this came across.

His riposte is irrelevant...that fact that he was asked is what portrays him as rattled.

Could this bloke get any smugger?

It was an archetypal bully's tactic, though.

It made me despair of the media even more than I already do, and realise how embedded public school type bullying has become in society.

Nice to see the S-word get trotted out (no pun intended), even if he did have to qualify it.

"Inequality one of the biggest problems with the last Labour government"; talking about redistribution of wealth from rich people in London to poor people all over the UK, and declaring himself a socialist (again)....and then they just call him a nerd and say his brother is better and that's the headline.

Classy stuff

Missed tonights, something more important to do. But Paxman is a bit of a dinosaur, hope his steak was ready for him afterwards :)

It's a quote ffs - and he'd get more support if he used fez's suggestion. Because it's funny. Not everyone in the country wants to tear down the establishment or cares what they do. They do like to laugh at them though.
That's one of the reason I thought his popularity would increase after this - he made people laugh a few times because he wasn't just going along with everything. He looked a bit mental and was shouting down Paxman (at the beginning). He looked human and didn't take the whole thing too seriously.

The key bit in that guardian instant poll:

There was better news for Miliband when it comes to the crucial question of shifting votes: 56% of the sub-sample who said they might change their mind will now plump for Labour, as against just 30% for the Conservatives.

Would need to see the size of that sub-sample of course.
