donaldson was always a member, it was his band. he wasn't always a nazi though.

It was his band, so yes, of course he was a member.. Radcliffe filled in on some tour of holland or something with little or knowledge of the band or the people involved and ISD was not 'out' at that point either. Google all you like, there's nothing here. If you really want to argue that he was a racist and knowingly played in racist band, then go ahead. I've seen this destroyed many a time.

Only read one, was a novel about returning to teh town where you grew up. Too much about how great Nick Drake was for my tastes.

From what I recall offhand: He played for a very short while (no longer than a few weeks?) when Skrewdriver decamped temporarily in Manchester. Donaldson wasn't a member of the NF then (in fact, he claimed a complete disinterest in politics), and only joined them when Skrewdriver collapsed and he went back to Blackpool (his erstwhile home town). Donaldson was indeed the vocalist in the pre-fascist Skrewdriver, and basically was Skrewdriver in the fascist version.

One was an autobiography that covered this in some detail. As soon as i read the words MarkKk Radcliffe on the internet i know exactly where it's going.

I've never heard any indication that Radcliffe had any racist tendencies whatsoever. And as I stated in my previous post, Donaldson never banged on about politics in the pre-fascist Skrewdriver, as far as I've read about from various sources.
