Me too - that's one of my recent favourites.
Some people on there have really fucking odd standards though. Recently someone posted a print of that famous painting of Beethoven, the one that has loads of personality in his expression. I'm not sure they realise what the word terrible means.

Bit of a Buddhist version, some local down in Sichuan has added colour to some cliff bas-reliefs dating back to the Northern Wei (4th to 6th century CE) ETA I see this story I searched for the pics says they're Sui/Tang which is a touch later, original one I read dated it to the earlier dynasty):

I think the two disciples either side are traditionally bald too, so that's a bit of license, though maybe that's a hood on the one on the left.

I think they might have been coloured originally, bit like classical Greek statuary wasn't in fact all plain white, but not sure. Expect the craft skills were a touch above this effort though.

We should organise a trip to the British Museum to paint the Elgin Marbles - they could do with a bit of colour I think. I'm sure we'd do an excellent job.

Read a follow up saying they've found the culprit, an older lady who had come to pray, had her prayers answered so wanted to make "an offering of robes". That's usually done by buying a silk cloak to drape round the statue IIRC but for some reason she paid a painter and decorator from the village to do this. Bet it's the last prayer this lot ever answer.
