16 year old girl fell on landing on her 2nd vault. Was going for a third and started crying, then went anyway and bailed out at the end of her run.

I imagine the fact that he got the exact same score and the realisation that this, for whatever reason, wasn't good enough to get him gold as well is pretty deflating.

I suppose for Smith, this is his last Olympics and if you are that close to getting a gold and know you'll not be getting another shot, it must be a bit deflating.

I think so. Won the 2010 world championships and 2011 European championships and had the best score on the bars in the team final.
