"Got, got, need, need, got" World Cup Sticker Album Thread

Massive lack of Iran and Belgium too. And the stadium stickers seem quite rare as well.250-odd stickers in and there's a distinct lack of USA and Japan
But I've got 4 David Villas and 3 Yaya Toures...
I reckon I'm about halfway through now. I'll post up my swaps soon if anyone is interested….

Oh, and another episode in the shitness of the England stickers: not only do the FA not allow pics of players wearing England shirts (the players heads are photoshopped onto bodies wearing white t-shirts), but they won't let Panini use the FA logo on the shiny sticker either. So whilst all the countries in the World Cup have their football association's logo on the shiny sticker, England have a shit-looking St George's Cross. 
By the way, what's with the code on the back of the shiny stickers?

I always reckon it's a shame Jamaica don't qualify these days, we'll never get to see David Villa's Caribbean cousin Aston in sticker form
The codes get you 5 'virtual' stickers on the online version of the album. Kinda pointless really, given anyone with a code is collecting the actual stickers!
I only need about 40 more to complete the album, may be calling on some of you for swap lists at some point soon...

That's normal though.We clearly haven#t bought enough becuase we still have no swaps. We are also missing entire teams but have nearly filled others

By chance I just found my 2010 sticker book .... I'm only missing Cameroon's Idriss Kameni. I thought I had loads of gaps.
I'm going to buy more for this one later. A proper outlay rather than a few at a time. I'm thinking now though that the Boy and I should have shared a book (would have been cheaper) ... but he doesn't stick them in straight

Can I make a request? If you have yaya toure as a swap can you send it to him.. I think he needs some love and getting hundreds of stickers of himself in the post has got to be a good thing

I don't want the virtual stickers, cos that will fuck up my carefully crafted memory of the players' faces, which enables me to flick through a pile of stickers and go "got, got, need…"

I've noticed all the shops seem to have new boxes of stickers in. And the packets themselves are a bit shinier than usual. Must be the next batch arriving with all the Iranians etc!
