Yes, it's definitely a better option, if you can do it. However, I know I'm going to miss the middle match and probably the first half of the last one, which is very poor planning on my part.
 
That's two days on the trot without a profit now and previous winnings were pretty much wiped out when I naively offered the girl friend that she could play a game of online bingo whilst I had a shower . Apparently difficult only to have one game.

I got a load of free bets from various sites, placed tiny bets on lots of matches and have mostly forgotten who I've betted on and where. Doh. The whole idea was to give me an investment in the games I otherwise had no interest in.

I seem to be somewhat ahead so far though, going on my balances on the sites I recall registering on. Plus extra free bets on paddy power that I now need to use on some other random chance.

One of my bets is on the ivory Coast to get to some stage or other - the quarter finals I think - at 500 to one, which I went for because it seemed to me that they have a much better chance than that. I can't even remember which site that was on.

I can't remember exactly what the odds were, but it was way over 100. The odds must have changed a lot in the last few days.
 
cashed out by Spain to reach the quarterfinal bet before the Chile game, so got £2.89 back from the £3.00 #phew!
and a triple came in, Chile,Holland,Croatia - £3 got about £18 back:thumbs:

bet before the Spanish lost their first game,so got 15/4,and Holland and Croatia were 1/4,and 8/11 , had a triple, patent,and a trixie , not fantastic return, but nice just the same
 
We are supposedly still , mathematically at least , still in it but what are the results we need to see in our group to let that happen ? who do we want to win tonight for example ? I know it wont happen but my head cant work it out .
 
Accurately predicted the 2-1 scoreline for Uruguay vs England last night. Tenner on it at 13/2. :cool:

Unfortunately I went for 2-1 to England.

I'm not sure either. Is it Italy have to win both and we have to beat Costa Rica and have a better goal difference?

We need Italy to beat Costa Rica tonight. That would put Italy, Costa Rica and Uruguay on 3 points. Then we need to beat Costa Rica in our last game to put us on 3 points too, and then for Italy to beat Uruguay in their last game. Then Italy will have 6 points and everyone else would have 3 points, and then its down to goal difference. Its a pretty tall order to be fair.

I like those odds
 
Italy win both games (9 points), we beat Costa Rica so us, Uruguay and Costa Rica are all on 3 points.

Uruguay's GD is currently -1, ours -2, so that set of results definitely sees us ahead of Uruguay.
If Italy beat CR by 1 or 2 goals we'd need to beat CR by 2; any more than that and any win will do.
 
Roll on Giro day on Tuesday I've not had a flutter in 2 days :D :D I started with £1 last Thursday and it got me through to Tuesday , wish I hadn't done those Trixie bets the other day :(
 
so far I have put £60.35 on bets, and won £57.12 back so not too bad . I have another £33.85 running on various bets - got £20 free bets off Bet365, so in a way I am up

Started with £20 at the start of the tournament and have £9.50 (plus a £1 free bet) left in my account :hmm:

A lot of my (26 so far) have been very long odds so not terrible really.
