Go for England defenders to be first goal scorers, i reckon there will be lots of corners and free kicks, Stones and Maguire are long odds to score first or last. England to win on pens is around 10/1.
I got 28/1 on Henderson first for the last game

He doesn't get many chances apart from the odd shot. Maguire and Stones always go up for corners/ set pieces, i think there will be plenty of chances for them.

I think Sweden were mainly awful and I reckon England has a far better team, but in this World Cup strange results that go against the grain seem to have become the norm.Lawro has us down for a 2-0 win....seems legit.

I really think is the best chance they've had in a very long time. They've been fortunate with the draw and this time round they haven't been hyped to the heavens and back. Plus they've got a great manager and a team that's reasonably skilful and mercifully not stuffed full of 'stars' - just hard working young players

The penalty shootout win must have been a massive confidence boost. I can see them getting to the final, but if I'm honest I can't see them beating anyone on the other side of the draw, but they'd be heroes by then.

I want them to beat Sweden and get to the final but I don't think I could bear another lifetime of being reminded about a World Cup win, so a heroic loss in the final would suit me. But without a dodgy ref decision that would make people go on and on and on about how they'd been 'cheated.'
But what about England?
cant understand this over confidence from some, Sweden are THEE biggest Bogey team to England ever, 42 years of never beating them was only broken recently in a friendly.

Yeah a few people today were saying that in ref to "dodgy refs"
I still have a sneaky feeling VAR may play a big part in the proceedings.
If it all goes wrong no matter who is involved it could be the death nail for VAR especially if it favors Russia.
Many are saying the only reason they have gone through as far as they have is because in the last round they wrongly got a VAR decision.
