Totally - I thought it was in the rules that you couldn't do that. Mbappe's runup is flawless - couple of steps then bang, no messing around with long runup or stop/start and has great record of scoring from them.

You’re not allowed to feint once the run up has been completed. Stopping and starting mid way through your run up is fine.
