Its pretty big news to be honest. Wasn't the last time this happened in 1983?

I have a nasty feeling - no more than a feeling - that it really is about what the Repugnicans say it's about: hammering the Democrats on spending.

It'd be nice to imagine that it was a coded message to Benny. But were those who voted against even thinking about anywhere outside the Beltway?

Give an example of their anti semitism ?Homophobic ?

Are you serious? Google Hamas and Homosexuality...then read their charter and comments about Jews.

you have to understand most of the world outside Europe and the anglo-sphere is homophobic.

Oh well thats ok then...silly me-wanting a basic human right of equality for all regardless of sexuality

Would you not have supported the Viet Cong because they were homophobic ?

Erm...whats the VIet Cong got to do with this...wait hang on...was I supposed to support them?

This is the real world of what they do and why they are supported.
"social, welfare, cultural, and educational activities". Social services include running relief programs and funding schools, orphanages, mosques, healthcare clinics, soup kitchens, and sports leagues".

That makes it all ok then. BNP councillors have campaigned for and fought on local issues too-but I guess we can ignore what they're all about eh

Both of you stop this shit.. put it on another thread. This is about Ghazza being brutally attacked. About children being murdered.

Would it be fair to say that, in the present hostilities so far, people who support the Hamas attacks on Israel are in some measure complicit in the deaths of 3 Israeli civilians? And that people who support the Israeli attacks on Gaza are so far in some measure complicit in the deaths of 1355 Palestinian civilians (926 men, 116 women and 313 children)?

I thought this appropriate by the way, what else is Photoshop for?

......This is total bollox, what IRA commanders ? "IRA commanders," never stayed in the same safe house for more then a couple of nights. It took an army company to go into some republican areas to back up the RUC in arresting someone, even for a misdemeanor.

I'll tell you what's bollox, you not having a clue about the difference between "command-level officers" and "commanders".

lets not also forget when the South Armagh sniper was operating there was a near mutiny when soldiers refused to come out of their Vehicle check points.

Which has what relevance to the subject?
No relevance at all, unless you're a wanna-be Republican trying to boost their ego on the feats of others.

As long as Hamas continue down the road of their charter, beliefs, rhetoric and action I cant see the chance of it not kicking off being that greatly reduced.

Grandma, HAMAS have offered to revisit their charter several times, in return for concessions. Their rhetoric is almost all anti-Zionist, rather than anti-Semitic. Basically, HAMAS could offer to do just about anything, and the state of Israel would either reject the offer, or use it as a lever to stall any peace process, just like they did with FATAH.

What's the law regarding british citizens fighting for the idf?
An ex-adviser to the government on tackling extremism in Britain’s Muslim communities raised an interesting point on Channel 4 News in relation to Brits who fight in conflicts abroad.

According to the rules, British men under 24 or women under 21 who have one parent or grandparent who is or was Jewish are eligible.

It was news to FactCheck, but there are around 100 British nationals serving with the IDF as we speak, apparently with no legal difficulties.

There is a even a support group for British parents of IDF soldiers called Mahal Mums.
