Her social standing will not influence her treatment, she will be given the appropriate cytotoxic treatment, exactly as the treatment my wife has been given.

I think she has been very lucky. Whatever the op removed showed early stage cancer cells. Which means her chemo is preventative. So she is lucky.

I've an 84 yr old aunt currently going through chemo and she has faded to nothing. Its a shit treatment. But Kate is a fit person..very fit and that will undoubtedly stand to her.

As someone's who been there myself, no matter how privileged she is, going through chemo and cancer is going to be pretty fucking grim for her and her kids.

I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone. My Dad died from it in 2016. Does explain a lot though. The photoshopping was obviously not done by Kate but by an (possibly well meaning but) idiotic staff member.
