The politics of hate. And envy.
Not at all. It's just a crap picture

I disagree. It's very formal and stiff and does make her look a bit mature, but as I said earlier her beauty does come through. I would have liked a friendlier smile but I take it that is not considered the thing in Britain. Not at all. It's just a crap picture

She looks...erm....a bit older in that pic.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-20978904
You'd think they could do a better job than that - All it needs is a few unicorns and other magical folk in the background and it's hippy art from the local market..
She looks...erm....a bit older in that pic.
That's about what I would guess. Maybe she's not planning on getting a nanny and they were trying to get ahead of themselves.I'd put her in her mid-40s
yes- a completely amazing picture too, based on the sketches for it. And Sutherland was a genius. This chappie.... isn'tI think it was his wife and it was the Sutherland one.
she's got amazing teeth. Veneers, apparently, but stillshit dentistry ennit. You'll never get a pic of me showing my apple-through-a-letterbox gnashers unless you snap me off guard
This type of thing? The painting looks like it would much rather be of a kitten, and on the kind of 'keepsake' plate they advertise in the back of the cheaper TV listings guides.
Are you a talking about skyscraper101's post or the original? She looks both smug and hard. Not good.
she could have had stan do itActually she is lucky. She could have had me paint it.
i know it's a really tacky painting, but by god if i was single i would like to kiss her.

Yes, that's her; didn't she do that Loose Women an all?
It is rather unflattering and too dark. It gives the impression she didn't want to be sitting there for a painting. In photographs she always seems very open and cheerful by contrast. I understand that she is a well-known person but am not all that up on celebrities.
it's in her eyes, she has dead eyes in the picture, like she's half-asleep or heavily sedated
I think that's a great portrait! She looks nervous and uncomfortable. It doesn't. It's dull and dreary and makes her look even more dull and dreary when she can and has (before she married) looked much younger, stylish and happier.
Now, I don't know when these ones of Diana were done, but there's plenty here that make her look young and happy. (Maybe they were after she left Chaz though?)
There's plenty of bright and colourful ones here

although equally, there's some very dull ones, e.g.
