Villa's first should have been given.Man Utd were so fucking jammy tonight.
Not sure the draw isn't fixed either. Chelsea v Chesterfield in 3rd round and next they meet the mighty Kidderminster.VAR is a good thing. It just needs reining in, or it leads to "suspicions" of favouritism towards the Big Clubs.
and, the other two lower league teams, Cambridge and Luton play each other, so there's one lower league left for a bit of "the magic of the Cup" left in the next round. Not sure the draw isn't fixed either. Chelsea v Chesterfield in 3rd round and next they meet the mighty Kidderminster.
I didn't check the draw, but it's about the Big Clubs.Luton are in the Championship - hardly a lower league team!
Chelsea have got Plymouth in the next round, not Kidderminster.
Could have sworn it said Kidderminster on the TV the other day.Luton are in the Championship - hardly a lower league team!

Well when you said 'the other two lower league teams', I figured you didn't realise Luton are in the Championship.I didn't check the draw, but it's about the Big Clubs.
and everyone is in the lower leagues these days, except for the Premiership,
They've got West Ham at home.Could have sworn it said Kidderminster on the TV the other day.
Yeah, I'm not sure it should have been used to disallow the goal on any of the grounds they were using. As Shearer put it after the match, the thing about obstructing Cavani should have only come in if he'd been near enough to influence the goal.Villa's first should have been given.
Not acceptable that VAR is working in some games but not others.
Not acceptable that VAR took 3.5 mins to find a reason to disallow the goal. Var has its place, but if it takes that long to find a problem, it is not a "clear and obvious error.

Watch almost any corner you get players holding on to others, pulling them back. Half of them should be penalties but aren't given.Villa's first should have been given.

(for the avoidance of doubt, and in order to provide full disclosure) I am a Reading fan
Did anyone notice that ITV didnt tell us what the numbers were for the teams in the draw, and how they were decided I really dint know as they were all over the place alphabetically. Im nt saying that wa a sign that it was fixed, but it certainly spoiled the enjoyment of the draw for me, and would make it much easier to fix the draw if no one knew what the numbers were! Not sure the draw isn't fixed either. The numbers are decided based on the order the ties were drawn in the previous round.Did anyone notice that ITV didnt tell us what the numbers were for the teams in the draw, and how they were decided I really dint know as they were all over the place alphabetically. I suspected that must be the case, but it still spoils it not putting the numbers up on the screen! The numbers are decided based on the order the ties were drawn in the previous round.
Boreham Wood vs Wimbledon was the first drawn in round three, which is why Boreham Wood were ball number one, and Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal were the last tie drawn, making them ball 32.
In rounds where new teams come in (e.g. in the third round), the new teams are listed in alphabetical order before the teams from the previous round are listed, which is why Arsenal are always ball number 1 in the third round draw.

Thank you, I totally agree. It's a two tier competition with different rules accoring to where the tie is being played!VAR is a good thing. It just needs reining in, or it leads to "suspicions" of favouritism towards the Big Clubs.
overpaid prima donnas who think they can walk it and who dont care so long as they get paid. It wasn't just Utd. Arsenal didn't even turn up eitherYeah, I'm not sure it should have been used to disallow the goal on any of the grounds they were using. United were just awful tonight, though they actually managed the game out okay for the last 15 mins or so (big deal...). What the fuck was going on with Rashford?? Fernandes was awful and Greenwood looked like he'd lost his confidence.
Anyway, it was a cracking weekend of FA cup before that.
Please keep the Pool out of this; I still have nightmares about my only visit there.Well when you said 'the other two lower league teams', I figured you didn't realise Luton are in the Championship.
Plymouth, Hartlepool, Boreham Wood and Wigan are all in a lower league than them.
It was great seeing that young lad Elanga coming on at the end and... trying.Thank you, I totally agree. It's a two tier competition with different rules accoring to where the tie is being played!

Ssshhhh.Declan Rice is the best player in the country. He absolutely ran that game.

I am endeavoring to search for further facts n figures but I think this was when Palace why flying towards the top of the second and fast becoming THE team of the eighties
and Hartlepool where languishing down the bottom.....of the league. A big cup shock in it's day but not the biggest cup shock ever.
Up the BoroGood to see we get the crap match out of the way as quickly as possible and we can look forward to better things.
