FA Cup 21/22

Sadly I had a busy night at work...sounded like a cracking game. I suspect there will be repucussions for Stockport for failing to control their crowd 🙁

Pah, Stockport probably spent more on their team than Bolton :D See Exeter might have their win nullified for one sub too many, what a shambles.

Amazing game. Challinor will have County back in the league sooner rather than later.
National League is rotten with decent ex-league sides at the moment and Hollywood Wrexham, looks like Chesterfield are favourites for a return first.

It's anyone's guess really. Notts County have a good chance also, somehow don't see Hollywood Wrexham making it. But I fancy Stockport as Challinor has such a good record at NL level, must admit I was surprised he snaked out at Hartlepool weeks after signing a new contract.

Still don't understand why they got rid of Jim Gannon who was doing a really good job there. Got them out of NL North which is a very tough league to come up from and stabikised them back at Tier 5. People forget Stockport had every chance of being the next Workington, part-time and being pumped in tier 6 by teams like Brackley and Altrincham.

Yes, bit of an odd one leaving Hartlepool as he was going fine with them in the league and would have though anything better than relegation would make a better springboard; Stockport will have a better budget and are a bit bigger but not really all that much. Maybe he just reckons NL promotion is his forte.

“Closer to family” & another payday for his agent. Stockport had to pay Hartlepool compensation. Neither agent nor client comes out of the snake-y move very well. Still, looks like it will work out.

Journey to Leyton Orient tomorrow for the FA cup. Due to originally planned industrial action on different rail lines I will be driving to Luton and then catching the train into London. It's been a long time since I've been down to the Big Smoke.

Orient are taking on whom? I ask so I know which mast to nail my colours to.

That Buxton match earlier looked a toughie. It looked absolutely freezing cold, very windy not to mention very very wet. Brrrr. Reminded me once of turning blue away at Forest a few years back Shame the dons are not on this weekend but looking forward to Yeovil later who had a great match and very noisy fans away at the Den a while back.

That was the worst performance I've watched. Orient were physical and the Rovers team couldn't deal with them. We kept on hoofing it up and their tall forwards were able to deal with it easily.
Just the Papa John and the league left to play for.

Rochdale v. Plymouth was a bit of a game. Good result also. Meanwhile, back in the premier League....

Good result for BW.
Away at the new den in next round sounds attractive and exciting. The London Overground derby😂
