FA Cup 2020/21

They've lent them their files on the Spurs players and Everton have loaned their training facilities.

I remember going to watch a few Northern Prem league games at Marine back in the '90's and for a small ground the atmosphere was always fantastic with opposing fans able to mix and have a right laugh with the banter to the players and match officials.

Bloody hell the deadlock in the Arsenal v Newcastle match had just been broken with the overturned red carded player scoring. This was a real snooze-fest up until now.

What was with most of the QPR players not taking the knee before kick-off? I think all the Fulham players did.
Ferdinand has and the club have argued it wont do anything to fight racism or make change , then they changed their mind before playing Millwall so its all a bit stop start

Rather than finishing all matches with penalties what do people think about settling them with a golden goal? I saw it used in the States a while back. Far more exciting and a team thing rather than the burden of a player missing or having a kick saved.

not keen. fairly sure one of the cup competitions (may have been whatever the EFL trophy was called that year) did this for a while (must be about 20 years ago) and from what i saw it tended to encourage more defensive play, and it could end up with one individual player (often the goalkeeper) making a cock up of something.

not sure i like penalties, but not sure any of the alternatives are any better...

I understand the enthusiasm but..........

Liked this though:
Former Liverpool defender and Crosby resident Jamie Carragher, who is sponsoring the dugouts and warm-up tops: "The thought of Jose Mourinho facing the club named after the pub a few hundred yards down the road appeals to every fan with football stitched into their soul.

"The ground is a long way from the glittering arena Spurs call home.

"The first challenge will be getting their luxury coach down tiny, cramped College Road to get anywhere near the ground, let alone park it once they're there.

"Then the players will have to get changed in a function suite - hastily converted into a dressing room - before going out to play on a pitch which, when I last visited in December, was more mud than grass."
