The Brazilian media are reporting that Red Bull, Ferrari and AlphaTauri have voted against sporting penalties for breaches of the budget cap rules. 7 teams have agreed that a breach could be dealt with by a deduction of points, race disqualification or season disqualifaction. It seems these 3 teams only want fines for breaches of the rules. It could be interesting to see how this plays out.

Yes I think maybe points from the constructors but as you say race disqualification would mess with the drivers championship, but over spend could make for a faster car. It a hard one, I need to think about it
