'Explosion' on Parsons Green tube train - injuries reported after terrorist incident

I have one more thing to add. If they care about people, why the underground /trains gates don't have explosive sensors? If the terror threat is so high, why they do not take measures to stop it, especially on public transport where is the target? Do not just excuse and say sorry after the things are done. I agree, fight against terrorism using different methods but an important method is to take measures.
Not reasonably practicable!

I realise we're heading severely off topic here, but out of interest, how are you able to categorise something you've never seen as
CSI was on Channel 5 when I was first made aware of it.
Why are we talking about what detective shows I've seen on a thread about a bombing in London?

So are you saying you actually have watched it, or are you deducing that it must be shit because it was shown on Channel 5?

And we're talking about it because you chose to respond to OzT's post and then continued to respond to other posts about the subject.

Why do you regularly respond seriously to people's offhand posts and then, after yourself being at least partially responsible for the thread diversion, complain that "we" are talking about something you apparently think "we" shouldn't be?

I only responded to questions or Tim's lies about me.
Now fuck off and get interested in something worthwhile

In Beijing they do x-rays at some tube stations. Not sure how they handle rush hour.
All the stations AFAIK. Avoid rush hour but you do have to put your bag through then as well. Can only be getting a pretty cursory glance, think it's as much to catch idiots with fireworks and demolition explosives as you occasionally get as terrorists trying to avoid detection.

Haven't been there for three years now. I remember the staff looking very bored and not very threatening.

Do you watch every single programme on tv? Is there nothing you don't watch because you think it's shit? How do you know it's shit if you don't watch it? It might start being really fucking good the minute you turn over. You must need forty tellies and never work or sleep just to keep up.

No, I don't watch every single programme on TV. In fact, far from having 40 TVs, I haven't had a TV at all for many years and what I do watch I do so on iPlayer or similar, unless it's on someone elses TV when I'm visiting.

I'm also pretty sure I've never deliberately watched either CSI or NCIS, and from the little I know of them I'm not planning to seek them out.

But, and this is the crucial bit here, I wouldn't dismiss anything I hadn't ever watched as
...shitty detective shows
in an online thread like this one, and then ask
...Why are we talking about what detective shows I've seen on a thread about a bombing in London?
when it was me who had effectively made that the topic of conversation by my repeated responses to the throw-away/jokey comments of others.

if you're so fascinated with my personal tv watching habits, feel free to start a thread about it and I'll answer all of your pooterish enquiries

It's not your TV viewing habits but the nature of your comments here I'm commenting on.

And now I'm simply responding to your and maomao's posts. Both of you are free to keep diverting the thread or simply drop it, as you choose.
