His description of the emergency service response to the Grenfell fire as 'breathtaking' was in catastrophically poor taste IMO.
And there is, famously, only one way of interpreting any word in the English language.
The way our firefighters, and emergency services, have responded has been breathtaking.
“The heroism, running into dangers, the fact that they have gone above and beyond the call of duty, has been remarkable."
Seconded!Maybe a thread about a terrorist attack that happened just a few hours ago isn't the best place for one of the stupidest arguments ever.
How do you think your argument is going down here?I everyone really thinks 'breathtaking' is an appropriate word to use when addressing the loved ones of people who have died from asphyxiation, I'll happily drop it.
I fear you may have misunderstood me!How do you think your argument is going down here?
Lidl UK told the BBC, after one of the company's freezer bags appeared to have been used in the attack: "We are shocked and concerned to have learned of an incident at Parsons Green this morning and our thoughts are with those affected.
"We will, of course, support the authorities should they need our assistance in their investigations. We are closely monitoring the situation as it develops over the course of the day."
How do you think your argument is going down here?
It was believed that the store that sold the bag might hold clues (CCTV maybe) at one point. Not sure why Lidl are getting invovled
standard reaction I'd have thought. Your brand name is out and about in high profile story, best give a response. It can't hurt. Not sure why Lidl are getting invovled
Shouldn't really laugh but it's funny to imagine Lidl's pr team having a meeting about how best to respond. "We condemn in the strongest possible terms the use of Lidl carrier bags in terrorist attacks"standard reaction I'd have thought. Your brand name is out and about in high profile story, best give a response. It can't hurt.

With a bit of luck we'll be seeing the cunt in custody soon.Just seems lucky that in this case the bomb maker didn't seem to know their craft.
The twat has spoken
Let me think about this. Trump could be just saying shit again, like he does. Or he's been let in the loop on something significant.
Hmm...
Or is he completely full of shit, and likes to pretend he is more in the loop than he is?I wouldn't dismiss this so easily. If you read it objectively it says that Scotland yard knew beforehand, which has been and usually is the case. The CIA were said to have warned about the Manchester arena bomber and the Barcelona attacks beforehand.
Could it be that warnings from the CIA were ignored this time or not acted upon fast enough and Trump is complaining about that?
Or is he jumping the gun?
. And we have to be scared of Terrorists because that's what is expected of us. How many cyclists have been killed this year? How many teenagers have been stabbed or shot?Well, an inept terrorist attack is still a terrorist act.
